Dr. Krysta Deitz graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She went on to complete a rotating small animal internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa, FL. She spent an additional year there as an emergency clinician and internal medicine intern. After that, she completed an oncology internship at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a 3-year internal medicine residency and obtained a Master’s degree at Iowa State University in 2008. That year, she became board-certified in small animal internal medicine. She then stayed on at Iowa State University as an assistant professor. In 2015, she moved to the Seattle area and practiced there for 1.5 years. In 2016, she moved to Jacksonville to be closer to family and started her current position at SEVO-Med.
